How do I add a charity to my JustGiving page?
Once you’ve created a page for each charity, follow these steps:
- Log into your account, click on your name in the top right hand corner and select ‘Your Fundraising’.
- Choose ‘Start a new team’.
- Choose a name and web address.
- Select ‘Open’ (anyone can join) or ‘Closed’ (you’ll need to authorise new members).
Do I need a charity number for JustGiving?
If you don’t have your own charity registration number or Gift Aid number you may be able to join using your umbrella charity’s details. We’ll need confirmation from the umbrella charity that they are happy for you to use their details and we’ll need your branch’s bank details so we can pay donations directly to you.
How long does it take to register a charity with JustGiving?
Once you’ve filled out the online form and submitted it to us we’ll work really hard to make sure your organisation is up and running and ready to take donations within five business days. We’ll also send you a welcome email once your account is approved with everything you need to get started straight away.

Why is my JustGiving page not working?
Clearing your browsing history and cookies removes any error loops that may be stuck in your browser. To clear this data when using Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox please hold down Ctrl + shift + Delete at the same time, please do not have JustGiving open at all when you do this.
How much do JustGiving take from donations?
